Banksy is a famous, unique and elusive graffiti street artist, thought to be born in Bristol, England, his stenciled street paintings often sell for hundreds of thousands of pounds at auction, even though almost nothing is known about the enigmatic artist.

Banksy became well known due to his often harsh commentary against the uncaring ignorant, self satisfied, well-to-do world.
