Color Blind – Counting Crows With Lyrics

As a westerner spending most of my life living in foreign lands I am often more than a bit out of place.
Sometimes local people might wonder how people like me think, and often turn to stereotypes to fill in the massive amount of blanks.
This song was written by Adam Duritz, I think it was his expression of feeling a bit out of place sometimes. I have meant to post this here for years, so I may as well do it now before I postpone it again.

Enjoy.

Colorblind Lyrics

I am colorblind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready, I am ready, I am ready,
I am taffy stuck and tongue tied
Stutter shook and uptight
Pull me out from inside
I am ready, I am ready, I am ready,
I am fine
I am covered in skin
No one gets to come in
Pull me out from inside
I am folded and unfolded and unfolding
I am colorblind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready, I am ready, I am ready,
I am fine
I am fine
I am fine
