Roost had been trying to get her his wife Henny out of the house for too many years now, telling her she had best go enjoy life a bit while she was still young.

"You only get one shot at life Henny, no use spending it sitting around the hen house all day." He used to say.

Henny seemed to have finally taken his advice, his wife had become very social, so much so that he hardly even got to see her anymore.

He was proud of how lovely his wife was as she stepped out these day, all puffy feathered, and fancied up with a spring in her step.

Yup Roost sure was proud to have a wife like her...well that was, until the eggs hatched.
